Global Solar Module Companies Face a Shifting Market Landscape in 2026

For the first time in over a decade, global solar PV demand is projected to decline in 2026. BloombergNEF estimates the world will add 649 GW of new solar capacity this year — down from 655 GW in 2025 — while InfoLink Consulting projects module demand could fall to as low as 529–624 GWdc.
